What visuals are best used with hierarchies?

Hi There,

I'm relatively new to Power BI and am trying to create visuals with a hierarchy within them. I've noticed that not all visuals seem to allow you to add a hierarchy. Is this the case or am i not doing something correctly..? Bar & Column Charts seem to work OK but the KPI visual for example doesn't. I'm hoping there are a few variations to use otherwise my dashboard is going to look decidedly dull!
