Hey all!
I want to assign dynamic, user input values to 'Sales' column of my data model for all months of a year.
Was wondering if I will have to create 12 What-If parameters ( one for each month ) or is it possible to do the same using a single What-If parameter.
Appreciate the help, thanks!
Hi @Apoorv1002,
Current power bi does not support to create dynamic calculated column/table based on filter selections. They not works on the same data level and you can't use the child level to affect its parent.
Notice: the data level of power bi(from parent to child level)
Database(external) -> query table(query, custom function, query parameters) -> data model table(table, calculate column/table) -> data view with virtual tables(measure, visual, filter, slicer)
For this sceniaro, I'd like to suggest you to write a measure formula to instead.
