Hi,
Im trying to create a column which will show me which tickets fall on Weekend and which tickets fall on Weekday.
So basically, the goal is identify what is volume of Incident tickets we get on Weekends (Categorywise, Groupwise) and who are assigned to them.
So I do the same on Excel with the formula as
How can I do this on PowerBi add a column which gives me tickets that fall on Weekend and Weekday.

Hi @Anonymous ,
If you want the return value to be in text format, please select the text format first, and then change the calculated column to
Work Day = if(WEEKDAY([Date],2)>=6,"Weekend","Weekday")

Thanks,
I tried this on the Column and gave me 0 and 1 so Im assuming 0 is weekend and 1 is workday?
But how to I tag them as Weekend and Weekday in Text? and also When I checked one of the dates that marked as "0" it falls on a Friday. So how can I exclude Friday and consider only Saturday and Sunday as weekend and rest all as Weekdays
Work Day = if(WEEKDAY([Date],2)>=6,0,1)
