Using desktop version : 2.126.927.0 64-bit (February 2024) - I work for a public utility and we are always a tad behind on versions...
Trying to grab data from a table found at https://sbs.nerc.net/ballot . This is a public page that requires no authentication, but evidently uses a 302 redirect. When I try and use the link as a web data source, I receive the following error:
Unable to Conntect. We encountered an error while trying to connect. Details: "Web.Contents failed to get contents from 'https://sbs.nerc.net/' (302): Found"
I have searched for solutions online, some referencing to use the Location specified, but I am unable to uncover any value. I am hoping to avoid building a customer connector, as that would involve engaging our enterprise support team, which has a long lead time.
Can anyone test this in their system to see if they can uncover a workaround?
Thanks in advance!
@will266 When I go to that page in Edge, it is just blank. So maybe the 302 redirct is not working? This link does work however: https://sbs.nerc.net/Ballot/BallotResults
Try https://sbs.nerc.net/Ballot or from the menu, Ballot Events.
Thanks so much for looking at it so quickly!!
@will266 It's very strange, if I go to that page directly with a capital B for Ballot it seems to redirect me to a lower case "ballot" page which is blank. However, if I click the link for Events, I get the page with results but the url is "Ballot", not "ballot". Maybe there is some javascript magic or something going on here? It's hard to tell.
