Web Links to Excel Stopped working in Desktop

Following the October 2023 update of OneDrive, the weblinks to Excel spreadsheets saved in OneDrive no longer work. This includes new sheets as well as sheets previously uploaded. This does not seem to affect those uploaded to the PBI service, however in PBI desktop, I am unable to create the connection using the method I previously did by copying the path and removing the "?=web" at the end.

Is this unique to me or is this something for which there is a new approach I need to learn?
