Hello All,
I have attached the screenshot of my data excel file.
I get the error when I try to load this file into Power BI.
Kindly help me with this.
Is there a solution to this? None of the above was helpful. My dates are showing up as number as well.
This seem like a correct format. Check for some space before or after or some blank which has text value as "null" in this columns
I could not view the date column properly. It is displayed as Error when I try to update and gets removed when I delete the error.
How do I even make changes to those columns?
Thanks
hi @Anonymous
For your case, there are usually two possible causes:
1. there are some space before or after or some blank which has text value as "null" in this columns, you could copy the only top three rows of data to test it separately.
2. Maybe the local date format of current computer is different with the data, you could remove the "Changed Type" in edit queries and then change the data type by using locale...
here is a blog, please refer to:

If you still have the problem, please share your sample excel file for us have a test.
Regards,
Lin
Power Bi is reading it as numbers and when I try to change the format using Locale it shows an error.
