Prisma Team provided me Access ID, Secret Key and API Base URL. How can i integrate Power BI to Cloud Prisma
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Forum Community.
Yes, you can connect Power BI with Prisma Cloud using the Access ID, Secret Key, and API Base URL. The process starts with an API call to log in using your Access ID and Secret Key, which gives you a JWT token. You then use that token in another API call to pull the data you need—like alerts, compliance reports, and more.
Both of these API calls can be set up right inside Power BI using Power Query’s Web.Contents function. Once the data comes in as JSON, you can shape and visualize it just like any other dataset in Power BI.

Thank you.
How can i do API call login to get JWT in PowerBI. They provide me https://app.prismacloud.io/ this base URL and Access ID and Secret Key
Hello @Manikanta2108
To enable Power BI to fetch data from the Cloud Prisma team, they need to provide the data source connection details such as the server or endpoint URL, database or schema name, and any required credentials like usernames, passwords, or tokens. The authentication method should be clarified—whether it's SQL authentication, Azure Active Directory, OAuth, or service principal.
If the data source is on-premises, they must configure an on-premises data gateway and ensure Power BI can access it. For cloud-hosted data, firewall rules or network access may need to be adjusted to allow Power BI to connect.
In addition, they should share the data schema or API documentation, including available tables, fields, relationships, and any required query formats or endpoints. Access permissions should be verified to ensure your Power BI user has the necessary rights to read the data.
If this solution helps, please accept it and give a kudos (Like), it would be greatly appreciated.
