Waterfall visual: sort by breakdown

Hi All,

I'm having an issue with the waterfall visual, is it possible to sort by the breakdown and make it effectively a bridge chart?

I've seen the following thread, but that's not the solution for me (and I doubt it was for the topic starter): Help topic

I would like to sort the breakdown to see the impact different P&L items, starting with the 'netto-omzet'. The charts has to start w with 2017 and end with 2018. I've made a separate sorting column on which the data used for the breakdown is sorted, so it doesn't sort alphabetically.

I have managed to create the year-on-year change in a regular chart in the order I want as you can see below, however here I don't have the start and ending values of 2017 and 2018.

If anyone has an idea how to solve this, or if I can't, please let me know.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi @Anonymous,

In current release of Power BI desktop, "Sort by Breakdown" is not a supported option. Please vote up this idea.

Sort by breakdown in Waterfall
