I have a waterfall chart that works fine in the desktop app showing the total after percentage losses however when I publish to a web app i lose this total calculation.

Any help on how to rectify this would be appreciated.

Based on your description, I created a waterfall diagram myself and published it to the service, but it did not reproduce your problem.
But there are a few suggestions to help you troubleshoot the problem:
If all these suggestions still didn't solve your problem, you can share your report with me in a pbix file after hiding your sensitive data in order to help you solve the problem.
If your Current Period does not refer to this, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
