WIP / process flow visualization

Hello everybody,

we are in the process of introducing a new MES system and would like to visualize the process flow / WIP somehow. We currently have no idea how best to do this. We are looking for numerous ideas, approaches, etc.
Can you share any experiences?
How did you visualize that?
Are there individual charts for this?
