Visualizing help desk metrics

Hey everyone,

In my help desk performance report, I have the following metrics: Total Tickets, Within SLA, SLA Compliant, Outside SLA, Non-SLA Compliant, AVG Res Time, Open, Solved, and Same Day Resolved.

I’m wondering what kind of visualization you’d recommend to highlight these as key indicators, and also include the "Previous Month" function to show the amount and percentage difference.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance, everyone.

@ajdm2007 If you need that using vanilla Power BI Desktop that would be a collection of probably 3 - 5 card visuals, an image visual and probably a shape or two that you would layer over top of one another, turning off backgrounds, etc. Plus you would need some custom conditional formatting measures.

The standard KPI visual would not exactly mirror exactly that but could give you some of the automatic green/read formatting, % calculation, etc.

If custom visuals are allowed, I would take a serious look at TruViz's KPI visual which is about as flexible and feature rich as it gets. Otherwise, you would have to experiment with different custom visuals. You could also check-out the Preview new card visual.

I did put together a mock-up of your design using vanilla. Not perfect by any means but should give you an idea of what is possible. PBIX is attached below signature.

Hello @Greg_Deckler

Thank you so much for your reply.

Unsure if I can approach my goal with that visualizations.

Take a look to my idea:

Any advice?
