Enabling Fabric Metrics Layer

Microsoft announced the preview of the Fabric Metrics Layer (Power BI September 2024 Feature Summary | Microsoft Power BI Blog | Microsoft Power BI). I haven't found how to enable it in the service. Has anyone been able to activate the preview to experiment with it?

Curious to know if anyone was able to enable Fabric Metrics Layer yet.

I asked the same question to the Program Manager leading the Metrics Layer feature. Her response:

"We should have been more clear in the blog – announced in Sept at FabCon and rolling out to all regions in the next month, so latest you’ll see it is Nov 1st."
