Visualizing Accounting Data: trouble with opening ...

Dear Community,

this is a tricky one...

So I have Accounting Data to visualize. The problem in my visualisations now, is that if I filter for a given month, I get the right result for that very month BUT all other months show the opening sheet balance of the previous year. The value of that opening sheet balance is needed, as the calculation is done successively...

If I apply no filter at all (which means data of a whole year is shown : all good

No Filter applied

If I filter for a particular month, I get the right value only for that month.

How can I fix this? Any tricks in how to handle that constant number.... As this constant is crucial to do the calculations based on the opening sheet for all sucessive calculations I do not want to simply remove it.

@Anonymous it is very hard to answer based on information you provided. It is not clear how does your data model looks like, whast measures you wrote etc etc. Read this post to get your answer quickly.
