Visualize only 5 values on secondary y-axis by using just month names

I am trying to visualize only 5 to 6 values/numbers on my secondary y-axis, but without a correct date hierarchy it does not work.

Can anyone give me some effective dax formulas or measurements to use please?

Hi @RGummels

  • In Power BI, a secondary Y-axis is only available on Combo charts (Line & clustered/stacked column). Plain line or column charts don’t support a second axis.
  • To use it: switch to Line and clustered column, put bars in Column y-axis and your line in Line y-axis, then turn on Secondary y-axis in the Format pane and assign the line to Secondary.
  • Using month names? Sort the Month Name field by Month Number so the order is Jan…Dec.

I am so very sorry.... was too hectic and I didn't receive all of your messages on time. My sincere apologies.

so in my chart, you see all of the values on the red lines, but I only need to display 4 to 5 values a little spreaded out.. Is that possible?
