Solved: Re: Visualization issue - Microsoft Fabric Community
Hi,
Recently, I posted the above post and also solved it myself. Now, the line gets a nice marker at the correct height. But this is only at the start date. However, I want the entire period between the start and end date to be colored red and not just triggered by the start date. The period can be minutes to several hours or even days.
I'm currently looking at the past 2 days, every hour, and can drill down to quarters. This is because of the other dataset that creates the white line, which is delivered every 15 minutes. But it would be nice if it could color at that level. So, if the end date is 14:14, it shouldn't color at the next block.
I currently only have a dim_date with the date and not with hours/minutes. If I need this, I will have to create it. The date is retrieved from the datasets.
The datetable looks like this en only the "volledige_stop" is relevant:
status | Department | start_date | end_date | Lokatie |
volledige_stop | AFD1 | 8-5-2024 17:59 | 8-5-2024 18:59 | A |

Still nobody able to help me? Please let me know if I'm not clear.
Tnx Bart
Hi everybody,
Is there somebody who can help me with solving the problem? Is everything clear?
Hi @bdeleur
Based on the information you have offered, I don't understand what you're ultimately looking for, based on your previous posts, what criteria do you want to be marked in red, what conditions do you want to be marked in red for the entire period, what conditions do you need, can you provide some example images of what you want to expect, and want to know which field in the table you provide that the occupancy data that you put on the y-axis is based on?
Best Regards!

Hi @v-xinruzhu-msft,
I really want to have a value on the white line (counts) during the period when there is a volledige_stop (period between end and start_date). If there is a value, I can use the other measure (if not empty or 0, then value of the white line) to color the entire period of the volledige_stop.
Currently, the entire hour during which there is a volledige_stop is colored, but the next hour when the volledige_stop is still ongoing is not colored. This is because it only looks at the start_date.
This is the result now:
If you look at the first red line, you'll see that it starts at hour 12. But it should run from 12:21 to 14:21. So, rounded to 15 minutes: 12:30 to 14:15.
Let's disregard the second red line for now. This is a new start_date. That's why it colors again.
This is the data it corresponds to.
status | Department | start_date | end_date |
volledige_stop | Afd A | 14-5-2024 12:21 | 14-5-2024 14:21 |
I hope my question is clear now, but if not, please let me know.
