hello,

i am having trouble trying to visualise the table attached in power bi. What i need is that i have a list of projects which will be used as a filter in power bi . So every time a project is selected i need a line graph to show all the different values  for that specific project for each month. The issue is here the months have different columns so when i try to visualise it does not work. Any advice on this ?

@Mart1980 you can unpivot the data in PQ and then you can use it the way you want:

- select all columns except months columns

- right-click, unpivot other columns it will add two columns, attribute, and value, rename these as per your requirement
- close and apply

and now you can easily visualize it in matrix visual.

First, you'll have to pivot or unpivot ( I forget which) the date columns in power query.

Power BI cannot read the data the way it is now.  It has to be like this:
Category,Date,Data
Category,Date,Data
Category,Date,Data

Note that every ROW is a complete data point containing all the information.
