Visual that allows selection

Hi there,

I came across a visual in the published dashboard which gives the freedom to select the area (month name) of visual as shown in the following picture:

Does anyone guide me which type of selector visual is used? I tried to find it but did not make any luck. Any help would be really appreciated.

@mahoneypat , I read about the rectangle selection. To be honest, I dont think that rectangle selection is same as shown in the picture.
