Hi there! I'm running into a snag with the date table I connected to my main table. I'm aiming to display all the records and have them neatly sorted by date on my Bar Chart Visual. Any tips on how to make this happen would be awesome! Here's what I did:
1. I made a date table and linked it to my main table.
2. In my Bar Chart Visual, I drag in the date column from my date table.
I've got some screenshots of both tables and the model connection. Can you take a peek and help me out? Thanks a bunch!

Hi @janinedev
According to the picture, the relationship is many to many,
Check duplicates in your date table :
You have to have a schema similar to mine :
I attached my pbix to let you follow if it doesn't help.
Please share the link to your dummy file.

Hi @janinedev
The relationship still does not seem the same relationship...
And as I mentioned in my previous post, Please share the link to your dummy file.
Click the value on your Y-axis, and in the ribbon, you will see the 'Columns' tools. There is an option to sort by; select the column that you want to be sorted.

hello again @Ritaf1983, I'm not sure how will I make the connection to dont have the not connected line. but here's the Relationship property of my 2 tables.
1. I have tried every type of the Cardinality but I can't seems to make it to be a straight connecting line.
2. I can't share a pbix file due to im using a direct query and it's a live data too.
3. I've think I solved the issue tho, in my visual I have a tooltips and it's ordering based on the tooltip.
4. What I did to achieve the goal was to create a new visual and drag the date and total tonnage and last the tooltip, and add sort by column.
5. But if possible, I would like to make my date table to work.
PS. Appreciate your assistance! Thank you
