Visual grouping bug

I have experienced some off behaviour with visual grouping

  1. When I create a group(s) of visuals, if I click ctrl+z at any point, all of the groupings disappear and the order of the visuals gets jumbled.
  2. If I have a tab with grouped visuals and I duplicate that tab, there are no groupings on the new tab, and the order is jumbled.

I am using the latest version of desktop Version: 2.79.5768.1082 64-bit (March 2020)

Ctrl-Z is Undo so if you just created a group of visuals, that would undo that.

Very difficult to understand what is going on, perhaps a video or screen shots. I do not get "jumbled". As in the visuals move?

I've created a video of the behaviour on a template I've thrown together

When I say 'Jumbled' I was referring to visuals re-ordering in the selection pane when the groups are removed.  This has the effect of visuals not appearing where I want them in the layer, so some get hidden behind others.
