Visual blank until filter selected

Hello,

 

I have 3 visuals that show all data in my data set when not filitered, and I would like to find a way to have all three visuals be blank until the user has selected a option from the filter I have on the page. Any help on this would be great!

Is there anyway to get this same result without meausres?

 

im finding that with measures you can use the "Analyze" function on data points to explain increases or decreases.
