Visual Year resets on selection of Visual Month

Hello

Would greatly appreciate some help on how to stop Visual Year resetting when selecting Visual Month.

On selecting Year Graph the Month Graph will show the relevant moanths for the year selected and then on selecting the month in the Month Graph will show the relevent data in a donut chart.

So the problem I am having is that when selecting a Month in the Month Graph it resets the Year Graph

So in the below I have selected the year 2022 and the month January is shown.

 But when I select January the below happens. The year graph resets and then shows both 2021 and 2022.

 

I have edited interactions so that when the Month Graph is selected nothing is to happen in Year Graph, but I'm not sure if I have to do anything else.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, Another question, Customers might know about the Ctrl+click so is possible to do this without Ctrl+click?.

I have the same problem. Is there a way to do this without using ctrl+click?
The users didn`t know that they have to hold ctrl and on a tablet or phone it's very complicatet, too.
