Visual Trick

Hello community,

There was once a post about adding female and male icons over a bar chart with changing the transparency of the images.

Each time a selection is made, the underlying bars fill the icons.

There was also a short youtube video explaining how to do it.

Something similar to hospital beds in this link

The forum is not letting me check old posts I have kudoed and I cannot find it on youtube.

So if anyone knows which post I am talking about, let them please refer me.

Much appreciated!

That's what I wanted to do

Overlapping a shape on bar chart and whenever the numbers change, the shapes will be differently filled.

You can't get those thread you have kudoed. I'm not clear about your requirement. Do you want to show different colors or apply different settings for male and female?

If so, you just need a gender column in your source table. Then this field can be the series in your bar chart. You can also create a slicer with gender field for selection.
