Whats is the connector you are using? Are you using the CQD connector?

Hi Heinrich Seems like you are in development stage. So, in Power BI Desktop default timeout limit is 225 Seconds and memory limit is 1 GB. If your query exceed the available resource you will get an error. So, the best way is to filter the data as much possible and keep only required columns with proper data type.
Even, You can try with Custom timeout or No Query Limit from here
