Vega-Lite JSON Configuration for Dropdowns Positioned on the Right Side in Power BI (Deneb)
I need help creating a Vega-Lite JSON configuration for a Deneb visual in Power BI. The visual should:
- Display a Linear Schedule chart that plots start and finish dates (y-axis) against start and finish station values (x-axis).
- Include dropdown menus allowing users to dynamically select fill patterns for specific categories:
- "Discipline 1"
- "Discipline 2"
- "Discipline 3"
- Position the dropdown menus on the right-hand side of the chart.
- Use custom patterns (e.g., horizontal stripes, vertical stripes, diagonal stripes, etc.).
- Ensure tooltips display relevant data (discipline, selected pattern, start date, finish date, start station, finish station).
- Render text labels (like "Select Patterns:" and category names) next to the dropdowns for clarity.
