VISUALS: click on the graphic and open a table with detials

Hi all,

I'd like to know if is possible to have an in a tab the Line graphic, but when you click on the grapihic open a new tab with a table with detials ?

For example:  I have a graphic that shows the total of expenses monthly, once you click on the grapihic I'd like to open a table with the Expensenses reson details and totals.

Is it possible ?

Hi

I believe there is a possible workaround using Bookmarks.
Just hide your visual behind a transparent bookmark. Assign an action to bookmark so that when you click it, it takes you that new tab where you have further details

I wrote this post quite recently. See link below

I have follow your suggestion.

I have created a separate page and than linked it to a bookmark transparent over the visual.

It was the most close from what I was looking for, and it will work for my end users.

Hi @Anonymous,

Based on my research, I am afraid you could not achieve this feature currently, you could try gooranga1's solution with Drillthrough function:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-drillthrough

Or you could use the report tooltip:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-tooltips

If all above could not meet your requirements, I suggest you submit an idea in ideas forum:

Hi @Anonymous

Have you tried drillthrough?

Hi @gooranga1,

What I'd like is not drillthrough, that will show my data segmented.

what I am looking for is:

I have a VISUAL (line graphic), when the user clicks de Focus mode, insted of to show the Graphic in a full screen, to show a matrix with the detials.

My graphic is showing monthly the total cost on Expenses, and I'd like to see on the Focus Mode a matrix with all Legders/Label for exapenses monthly.
