Using single field parameter for two different category of measure

Hi All,

I have 2 sources of data - say Actuals and Target. The actuals could be by sales amount or quantity. So there are 4 fields - Actuals [Sales Amount], Actuals [Quantity], Target[Sales Amount] and Target[Quanity]. I need 3 matrix visualisations - one for Actuals, 2nd for Target and 3rd for variance.  The user has the option to choose the measure. They can choose one or both.

I can do a field parameter to mention the measures and choose 'Sales Amount' (Actuals and Target). But they are creaed as a single object and appear in same matrix visualisation. I want as 2 separate matrix.

Can you please advise how this can be done.

If I make a slicer with the 'field names' only, can we have a conditional logic to pick the measure(s) to work with ? Note - the user can choose multiple meausres.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Anonymous ,

In the matrix you can filter out only the filter parameter you want using the filter pane that way you don't need to use a slicer, just filter within the visualization.
