Change internal query path or priority using with rename

Hi to all,

I'm still quite new in the PowerBI world, so please indulge my lack of knowledge.
In a simple way I've got 4 tables:
     |1----n BB n----n|
AA--                         ---DD
     |1----n CC n----n|

In two slicers have the options to filter for AA and DD.
If  I change AA the shown values for DD adapt.
My problem is that not all values the slicer for DD needs to show, are shown.
The FlightRecorderCurrent shows that the query uses BB to complete the query path, but BB is partially incomple so not all needed items of DD are shown.
How can I make the engine take the path via CC?

1. USERRELATIONSHIP only seems to work for measures and not for dimensions(needed for filtering)
2. I tried renaming CC to BA, but the internal name of the table seems to remain CC, despite refresh and reopen.

What else can I do?
