I have excel spreadsheets for the last 12 months with the client's serial number, the client name, and the revenue ytd for each client and I want to combine them into a line chart. However when I create the line chart I get a stack of dots rather than a line. How do I use this information to create the line?
Hi joeality,
You should put [month] column into axis field, put [client's serial number] and [client name] into legend field. Then put [revenue ytd] into value field.

Thanks @v-yuta-msft!
This doesn't seem to work and I think it's because of my data. I have 12 spreadsheets, one for each month, so I'm loading 12 date fields and 12 sales total fields. How can I bring just the columns I need into a single table?
Please try Edit queries->Append queries to merge tables. Hope that can help you.
Thanks
Ryan
