I have a view with columns SQServerName, DatabaseName,LastBackupDate. I am using a matrix visual with drill down. I would like to see the backup date only when I drill down from SQLServer to the Database rows. How not to show the BackupDate on the SQLServerName row.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @Anonymous
You can use this measure:
Measure = IF(ISINSCOPE('Table (2)'[Database]),MAX('Table (2)'[LastBackupDate]))
Please note that "Show items as no data" is enabled in SQLservername:
Pbix attached.
@Anonymous create a measure for LastBackupDate and then use ISINSCOPE function to return BLANK() value when your scope is SQL Server Name
Read more about ISINSCOPE here
Would appreciate Kudos if my solution helped.

new to powerbi, I tried this:, seeing a syntax error:
mLastBackupDate = IF(ISINSCOPE(vwBackupInfo[DatabaseName]),vwBackupInfo[LastBackupTime],Blank())
Hi @Anonymous
You can use this measure:
Measure = IF(ISINSCOPE('Table (2)'[Database]),MAX('Table (2)'[LastBackupDate]))
Please note that "Show items as no data" is enabled in SQLservername:
Pbix attached.
well, the problem now is, when i click the drill up icon, all my data disappears if i use a measure.
@Anonymous you need to add this as a measure and use aggregation like MAX or MIN
