Using filters and filter being used by buttons on a dashboard

Hi,

In reference https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0m-PCX1uCG4  I have below problem to address.

  • Land on a dashboard with filters, data grid and buttons to change the view of the grid.
  • The buttons are using some filters and bookmarks which are not visible not on the dashboards.

The workflow which I want to work is :

  • Apply the visible filters on the dashboard -> Click on button (which is using bookmarks behind the scene) which should also including the visible filters on the screen.

Thanks,

Saurav Sidana

hi, @Anonymous

For your requirement, you need to duplicate the page, and then use sync slicers function.

Hey Lin,

In the example you have attached what I want is :

Once you select value in Column1 slicer when I click on the button, page 2 should have same slicer with value being the same in the slicer what was selected on page 1.

Let me know if I am not clear here.

Thanks,

Saurav sidana

hi, @Anonymous

Yes, it is. when you select the value in Column1 slicer, then you click bookmark2 to page2, there is an invisible Column1 slicer will also be select the same value.

Hey Lin,

I am not sure what I am doing wrong here, it works in your file as in the slicers accross both the pages, but not for me when I try.

I am attaching a link to the file where I tried. I would really apreciate if you could help me troubleshoot or if please let me know the steps or post a video to replicate, that would be of greate help .

If possible, just enter some sample data manually.
