I have two tables which I have created a relationship bettween the 'EmpID'. One the 'HC' table i have a list of all staff, on the 'ER' tbale I have a,list of some staff that have an absence record. I am creating a viz to show absenceses by gender, my gender col is in my 'HC' table. When I pull this files through in the value field it just gives me a count of the the no. of records and does not pull the corrent breakdown of gender.
Any help would be appriciated, do I have to create a lookup even though the tables are have a relationaship?
Thanks

My guess is that your Cross Filter direction needs changed. Likely created it as a one-way cross filter direction and you need both cross-filter direction. Just edit your relationship and change it.

Hi
Greg_Deckler you are absolutely right, I've changed the direction to two-way and it works.
Thank you.
