Hi,
I need to create a report where users can pick the start and end dates. I can do that using the parameters, passing the parameters into the query, and then using the slicers.
The challenging part is that there're temp tables in all queries. temp tables work in import mode only while the dynamic parameters require the direct query mode.
Is there a workaround to deal with this issue?
thanks,
Kamil
Hi @KamilGH
If the data size is not very large, you can import all data into Power BI. Then use Date filter on all pages to control the date range. You can also add a Date slicer to multiple pages and use Sync slicers feature to sync the date range on selected pages.
