I have a table of student performance (percentage marks in each subject).
I have a slicer for values 5,10,15,...,100. If the user selects the value say 40, I want to create a column which will store 1 if the percentage obtained by the student is less than 40 and 0 otherwise.

Hi @Aditi_R ,
I would suggest using parameters for Columns slicer and then creating a measure out of it.

Calculated columns are only calculated during data load or refresh, so they do not pay any attention to slicers or filters. If you want something which will react dynamically you will need to do it as a measure.
