Using PowerBI for Project Management

Hi,

I have a simple list:  Project name, resource, start time and end time.  Any ideas on how to display this data in a nice gannt?  Also, if I want to update current status, i.e. RAG (red, amber green), depending on another attribute for complete / incomplete, can this be done?

Thanks.

Hi,

I think this link might give you some ideas how to start in PowerBI. If you do it in Excel you have a lot more flexibility concerning your KPIs.

Sammy

ok, so sounds like PowerBi isn't the best tool for this, correct?

What other software is there apart from Excel pls?

Thanks,
