Using Color Scale for Conditional Formatting

Hi I need to create a color scale conditional formatting on a specific column/cell but I want it to "fade" in and out of each color based on the cell's value. Like a progress bar that changes based on the color scale. For instance white for 0..starts going towards light green as it goes up until dark green is 50. As it goes up to 70 it goes from green to orange and from 70 to 100 it gradually becomes dark red.

is that doable?

Is this something more than the standard conditional formatting you are looking for? For example, if you used conditional formatting on a bar chart and then selected gradient as Format style, added the middle colour and set the values as appropriate?

Apologies if I've misunderstood.

Tried that on a table visual for a specific cell. lets say I have a column showing different values from 0 to 100. I want each cell to have a "progress bar" as a background with the gradient colors. Fading from/to a different color based on the value

Ah - I see, obviously you could use the same conditional formatting on the cell background, but if you wanted to apply conditional formatting to the data bars then I can see why it's not working for you.

Sorry to not be more help, but if I come across an answer I'll be happy to share!

what about the attached photo. The Revenue Won column has conditional formatting. How can I achieve this "progress bar"?? power-bi-tiles-select.png

Do you mean the Forecast by territory table in the bottom left? For the colour of data bars in cells that's under Visual > Cell elements and then Data bars, but you can only set positive and negative colours, and I don't think it fades in and out.
