I have a slicer which allows the user to select one of a number of values, as per normal. I think have this code to get the value selected in the slicer:
Sel = IF(NOT(ISFILTERED('Options'[Options])),
"All",
CONCATENATEX(ALLSELECTED('Options'[Options]),
'Options'[Options],
", "))Great. If I show the value of Sel on the dashboad, it shows the value I selected, or 'All'.
So now I want to use that value for each row, to determine whether or not to show it. Can I use it to create a new column like this:
Show = if(Sel = "All",
"Y",
if(NOT(ISERROR(SEARCH(Sel,columnvalue))),
"Y",
"N"))And then filter on the value of Show, only showing the row if Show = "Y"?

Hi @Budfudder,
For your requirement, I suggest you'd better create measure and then put the measure to visual level filter to filter row if Show = "Y".
If you still need help, please share your sample data and your desired output so that we could help further on it.
Best Regards,
