Hi
I have a report and this report is viewed by lot of users by Division.
I want the report to filter to user by default based on division, hence user to see thier division report as the user logs in and also have ability to reset the division to see all division in report.
I have tried using RLS but the issue is that it filter to the user on the division they resides but can't reset or see all other division.
Is there a way i can resolve this since RSL doesn't work that way?
Hi @Anonymous ,
You can create a measure to identify the user group and then if the slicer is not selected, the measure will return 1 when the group of the row equals the user group. then put it in the filter pane and set it to show items of 1.
Pbix in the end you can refer.

@v-chenwuz-msft Thanks for the reply. It works on a visual I applied it to, however, it does work when I applied to the filter panel on "Filter on this page". I want it to filter on a page level not on visual.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Unfortunately, this method cannot be applied to the entire page at once. Or you can consider adding this measure for each visual.

@Anonymous Well, once the user logs in, views the report and sets the slicer to their Division the Service will auto-bookmark that so that the next time they view the report it will be set to that Division.
@Greg_Deckler How can this be achieved? I'm new to Power BI. Is there any steps I need to follow?
Any sample data or link to watch or read about it.
@Anonymous It's automatic. Announcing Personal Bookmarks in the Power BI Service | Microsoft Power BI Blog | Microsoft Power BI
