User input to SQL statement in SQL Database query

Hello,

Is there a possibility to use user input from Power BI Report to change SQL statement from SQL Database query.

Like using parameters for SQL Database query in Power Query, but with the possibility to change the parameter in the front-end.

Thanks in advance! 🙂

@mhani , You can use the Dynamic M parameter in case of direct query on supported sources

Hi again,

Just opening this, as I have another question.

Is there a way to query down in SQL Database with the value of pressing a datapoint in a visual.

So if a user click on a datapoint in a visual. It wil use that value to query down in SQL Database, and update other visuals with that data?
