Hi
Pretty new to PowerBI but am having trouble with something I would have expected to be relatively simple.
I have a simple table of resources with 1 column (resource name) which shows 3 results. However, when I switch the field type in the column name, to count (distinct), it gives 26 as a result.

It seems baffling that the results of filters should give 3 results, but such a different amount when counted.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
really hard to know what its going on without more information.
please provide some screenshots of what is going on and then show what you are expecting.

thanks. I have added some screenshots. I am expecting a count of resourcename to be 3, as per the first screenshot where 3 resource names are listed. Instead I get a count of 26.
that is interesting, its really hard to tell without seeing the file or the data, are you able to share, dont think we can resolve it this way if you say you have done a count distinct as that would be the solution.
