Use SWITCH Function without aggregating the field

I need to creat a new measure that will group like products together. See the table below, where the New_Measure column is what I want to create.

I cannot create a new column because I have to use  Live Connection.  I've tried using the SWITCH function, but it requies an aggregate on the Product_Code, which breaks the results if the Product_Code isn't part of the visual.  Does anyone know of a way to basically create a custom grouping with a Live Connection?

Product_CodeSales_AmountNew_Measure
ABC$100Painting
BCD$500Painting
CCD$200Painting
EEC$300Maintenance
BDS$700

Hi @Anonymous ,

try this.

New_Measure =
SWITCH (
    SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Table'[Product_Code] ),
    "ABC", "Painting",
    "BCD", "Painting",
    "BDS", "Maintenance",
    "CCD", "Painting",
    "EEC", "Maintenance"
)
