Hi guys,
I'm wondering how is a 'view' calculated.
The definition provided is here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-usage-metrics
" a view is defined as a user loading a report page or dashboard."
But say someone keeps the report tab open all day, and then
- clicks on the tab 'reload' 4 times.
- within the report, clicks on, say, the filters and reorder the columns 20 times.
- cliks on the 'refresh visuals' 10 times.
At the end of the day, how many views are counted?
Thanks,
Alice

Hi @AliceW ,
As the document mentioned, a view is defined as a user loading a report page or dashboard means it will be counted when a user open a report or dashboard each time, the total value is the value of Views per day.

Thank you, Li!
A view is a change in the URL or a refresh of a URL. The terms you use are not very clear (what do you mean by "Refresh all visuals" ?) maybe you can elaborate.
User | Count |
---|---|
98 | |
76 | |
76 | |
48 | |
26 |
