Urgent Help : How to generate Start date and end date of a fiscal year in Power bi ?

Hi Community,

Greetings !!

I have an urgent requirement to fix a production report which involces Fiscal Year calculations for Previous year, current year and Next Fiscal year .  I attached a screen shot to show the output i am expecting .

I am not sure if we can acheive this through Power BI or SQL Query . I need an immediate help for this please. In my Company, the Fiscal year Starts from February 1st and Ends at January 31st of every year. I am not finding a way to dynamically give the start date and end date through SQL or in Power BI .

Could some one please check my requirement and help me in getting this dates through Power BI or SQL ? I understand this forum is just for Power BI and not SQL . If we can get this done through Power BI, I would like to know a way to get this dates dynamically every year ?

You can try this DAX column like below:

Fiscal Year = If( Month([DateColumn]) >= 2  , Year([DateColumn]),Year([DateColumn]) -1 )

Fiscal Month = (If( Month([DateColumn]) >= 2 , Month([DateColumn]) - 1,Month([ColumnDate]) + 1 ))

It will help you to set Fiscal Year from Feb.

Don't forget to give thumbs up and accept this as a solution if it helped you!!!
