I have an empty SQL Table that my DBA created in our data warehouse and was wondering if there is a way to load data into the table from and Excel sheet using the desktop app. I know I can import the Excel sheet to create a table using the Desktop app, but if I already have the structure of the table in my model, can I load data into that table? Thanks!
You might be able to use the M query language in Power Query. This is an example post about an M function that can insert rows in one table from rows in another table.

Power BI is easy to learn, but it has hard parts.
