Hi,
I have copied an already existing Power BI Desktop file and I wanted to just replace the source links for all tables.
All of the tables are linked to Excel files stored into SharePoint.
I have managed to update everything but one table. When I paste the new link in the Source step in Power Query I get this error message:
"Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'The expression refers to multiple columns. Multiple columns cannot be converted to a scalar value. The expression is empty. Please provide a valid calculation expression. The start date in Calendar function can not be later than the end date. The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed."
Now this file is a copy of another active one and I have never had this error, so I don't think one of the dates in Calendar functions have changed.
As I said I have updated the source links for all other tables but this one.
I hope someone will be able to help.
Thanks
Solved! Go to Solution.
It did turn out that when I linked to the new source a table from which the start and end date of a Calendar function were being taken did not have information in it. So the dates returned were funny and indeed the start date was greater than the end date.
So I guess if anyone has this error it seems to be for sure coming from a CALENDAR function.
I hope this will help someone eventually.
