Updating Microsoft Gantt Custom Visualization
I'm trying to update the Microsoft Gantt version (from 3.0.12.0 to 3.4.5.0) used in my PBI Desktop dashboard. I've tried updating it from "More Visuals", and I click through the prompts and receive the "Success" message, but the version remains the same. I've tried removing the visual and reinstalling, but the version remains the same. I went as far as removing and updating the PBI Desktop installation itself and installing the Gantt visualization, but even from a clean slate the version is stuck at 3.0.12.0. Is this a known issue?
The reason I'm trying to update the visual version is an issue I'm having related to associated table visuals. In essence, I have a row where one of the columns used in the Gantt 'Tooltips' field contains a blank value, and when selecting that row in the Gantt visual, it disappears from the associated table visuals. All the visuals are pulling from the same data source, there are no slicers affecting either visual, and I've manually checked exactly what filters exist on the aforementioned table, none of these are the issue. I'm hoping to see a resolution upon update, but I can't even get to that point.

Please try these step, i hope this will work,Practical Workaround Option 1 — Completely remove the visual from the PBIX
Try this carefully:
Step 1
Open a brand new empty PBIX file.
Step 2
Import the newest Gantt visual fresh from AppSource.
Step 3
Verify the version again:
Visual → About
or Format Pane → About
Step 4
Now recreate ONE small test Gantt visual page using copied fields.
Please Do not copy/paste the old visual.
Step 5
If the new PBIX shows 3.4.5.0, then your original report contains the old, embedded package.
At that point you need to rebuild the visual in the original report,
OR migrate report pages into a clean PBIX.

If this helps, ✓ Mark as Kudos | Help OthersI think u cannot get 3.4.5 because AppSource provides only 3.0.12, and the row disappears in that older version when the tooltip field is blank; the simple fix is to enter a value in that blank or place a new Gantt visual on a new page.
