Update data using powerapps interface instead of excel

Hello !

I have a power bi file right now that is connected to an excel file with multiple sheet, because each sheet represent different process. Currently, everything works fine for my flow and everything but i figure that this is not an user-friendly method because i need to modify the data in the excel, i was thinking can i integrate my data in microsoft list and powerapps to provide a better platform for user ?

thank you in advance !

Hi, @butterscotch

You can link to Microsoft List through Power BI or Power App. Migrating your data from Excel files to Microsoft List and PowerApps provides a more user-friendly and flexible platform. Here are some steps and suggestions:
1.Microsoft List: Microsoft List is a powerful tool for creating and managing structured data lists. There you can define columns, add data, and share it with others.
You can import data from Excel into Microsoft List. Create a new list in SharePoint and then use the "From Table" option to import the Excel data. In Microsoft List, you can define custom views, filter, sort, and set permissions so users can only access the data they need.
2. Connect PowerApps to Microsoft List: In PowerApps, you can connect to Microsoft List using the SharePoint connector. Create a new PowerApp and select Connect to your Microsoft List. You can choose to use an existing list view or create a custom form. In PowerApp, you can add fields, create interactive interfaces, and save data back to Microsoft Lists.

@butterscotch , If you entry data at the source, it should not matter for Power BI.  In Import Power BI will behave same.

In case you want to use Power app visual, you can refer https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Power-Platform-Integrations/Power-Apps-Power-BI-Better-together-Wri...
