Update data source with different data format

Hi, 

I tried to update my data xlsx with other kind of data format csv. 

it gives me the error of wrong data format. 

Is it possible for me to update the data with other kind of format? 

the columns are the same.

@Anonymous  I assumed you changed filetype in datasource settings and it did not reflect. ds.PNG

The best way to do this is to click edit queries and open up advanced editor as shown below . You can change the file type and it will get fixed there.

The best way to do this is to click edit queries and open up advanced editor as shown below . You can change the file type and it will get fixed there.

Thank you for your solution 

i did follow your steps. 

it gives me the error: 

csv change.PNGerror csv.PNG 

 

All of number column are the same why it gives me this error? do you know why?

@Anonymous yes you can surely do that you just need to change the couple of line in query using advanced editor.

 

the best way is to create a new table using csv file and copy the lines from csv file to use excel file to connect to csv.
