Unsure how to make a sheet with counts per day

So my data is like this:

Part ID	date step A completed	date step B completed	date step C completed
123	1/2/2020	1/7/2020	2/1/2020
456	1/2/2020	1/6/2020	2/1/2020

I'm having a really tough time figuring out how to format the data such that I get a graph that shows how how many parts completed step A on 1/2/2020, etc. Ideally, I'd like to do this on a per-process and per-day format so that we can see how many parts went through each step on a given day. Thanks for your help.

I think the trick would be to unpivot the steps and go from there.
