Using Power BI Desktop, I have a workbook which loads 16 text files (csv), some of which are quite huge, and the refresh process has been working the same for more than a year, until I installed the November 2018 update.
Now instead of the refresh loading all files in PARALLEL, it appears that Power BI Desktop is now loading them SERIALLY.
I saw nothing in the release notes about such a change. Have others observed this? Thanks...

Hi @abond,
Have you enabled the parallel data load option by "File-> Options and settings -> Options"?
Best regards,

Yes, that setting solved the problem.
However, how did that setting get changed by installing the November 2018 update?! I've been using Power BI almost DAILY for 18 months and have NEVER seen it perform anything but a parallel load of my multiple data sources.
Odd... But thanks for the fix. 🙂
