Understanding Mapping Layers and Data Visualization

Hi all!

Is it possible to make a map, whether that be through Azure Maps or ArcGIS Maps, that has toggleable layers? I am attempting to create a Digitial Equity map for the agency I work for. This map has multiple different data points I'd like to display: download speeds, upload speeds, internet provider, among other things. Is it possible to have all of these data points in a single tab and be able to toggle between them? I can add them as tool tips, but I'd like the data points themselves to change color based off the variable selected. I could create individual tabs for each variable, but I was asked if I could include all of these on a single tab. Ideally I would simply use ArcOnline and have the map there, but my agency has very few licenses and I really cannot make this specific map public.

I appreciate any insight or advice in advance!

Hi @mitchlarue

You could use a field parameter.

Go to Modelling, Parameters, Field, then add all of the columns that you need from your table.

I'm using dummy map data to replicate your requirements

Keep the 'add slicer' button checked to quickly add a slicer to the page.

Add your field parameter to the map visual legend.

Now you can easily toggle between your data points.

Oh, amazing! Thank you so much, this is a really cool feature. Do you by chance know if it would be possible to conditionally format each variable within the parameter? I.e. make something like download speeds red where its slow and green where it is fast to symbolize issues at these specific properties?
